Went up to daughter's place to repair a WInter's worth of snowplow damage to her driveway. Whole fam damily is out of work due to the virus bullshit. Grandson Jarod and Daughter manned the rake and shovel while I used the box blade to drag the gravel back out of the ditches and put some crown back in the drive.

Great-granddaughter Izzy supervised loading and chaining down the Cabota afterwards, and inspected the cab to be sure all the safety equipment was in place and working.

….teach her a little Navy terminology.... WOOF! One X-mas the guys were out in my shop. I was building a Lathe. ( I got Pix) My shop is not like Mailmans! If something goes boom, and you run, you die! No easy exit. I said what I always say.. "I can't find anything in this F**kin Sh*t!" A bit later notice my Daughter standing in the doorway. She was swole up like a frog, hands on her hips. Finally I said, "What?" She said. "F**kin S*hit, F**kin S*hit!" That little grand girl, about 4 or 5, had went into the kitchen, with all the women, and what rolled off her tongue made the kitchen explode! Who knew she had found her way to the shop? One of the fragments found her way to the shop door with her hands on her hips! I said, "You need to keep the kids outa the working area!" :boxing:

Ain't it amazing how they can't hear you from 3 feet when you tell them to stop tormenting the cat, but you whisper ONE expletive from halfway across the house and they're all over it!

Between me, my daughter ( :yikes: ) and my grandson, Izzy will not lack for inspired verbal lubrication. One only hopes we can teach her about time and place...

And isn't it interesting to see how they can understand the context to use those words if not understand why grandma does not like it?
