Motor and frame years please

That's an 81 engine in a 71 frame. ...........Early frames from 71-73 were different to the later 74-83 frames and the engine mounts were different on the early motors compared to the later 74-83 motors

Been done, not by me, but from what i can remember reading the front mount is usually the one that is different............do some search's.

Good morning Ozarkriding. My current project involves putting a late model electric start motor in a 1971 XS1B frame. For the top motor mount you will need to use one from a 1970 or 1971. For the front mounts I had to fab up a new set. The pic below shows an original mount from my XS1B on top of the one I made. Note there is about 1/2 a hole difference.
