We're all hiding in the garage from a solid day of non stop rain. Been trying to research some information but no luck. I acquired this set of carburators, the choke lever and throttle stop screw were missing. I was able to solve the choke lever problem, but nothing for the throttle stop screw. Anything on Ebay is like $25 for one liitle screw sent to Canada.
Does anyone know what size this screw is?
A metric thread pitch guage, has a fit of .5, very fine thread.
But what size is the bolt?
Is there anything else I could use in place of that missing screw?
I do have the spring for the screw.
I thought about a machine screw double bolted on each side of the bracket, but there would be no easy adjustments made with that.

probably 6mm? I'd buy an overly long one and cut it with my dremel until the spring felt right on it. likely a hardware store item in the u.s. i'd replace that fender washer on the throttle shaft with a spring washer

i wonder if it's stripped and that's why the screw's gone. might turn out to be 6mm after all...
