What have you done to your XS today?

That’s a shame about that dealer. Even in the best of times the European brands struggle with sales.

Rattlecan Satisfaction
Frame is done, will wait till it is dry enough to move and stick it in the van to "bake" for a couple days.

Passport to Perdition?
So I was looking at the alloy top triple for my blue '77 and remembered that years ago I had bought a polishing machine on sale.
I had hid it on the top shelf, but I think I can just use it once or twice for a couple parts.
So now I gotta go get some paint remover as those fork lowers are looking pretty shabby too.....

Went to the junk yard again and got a GM ignition coil off a cavalier and an ignition module off late 90s chevy truck and potentiometers off the same trucks. Not sure what I'll do with the potentiometers yet but I'm sure I'll find a use for them down the road.

Kind of frustrated with the lean left carb so I've been putting it off by working on other things

Mounted what I believe was a virgin rack....original sticker unharmed.
Added a front bar to the rack out of some home depot 3/8 steel rod.
Thought the rack needed a front bar aesthetically and for functionality.

Very complimentary to your 76 !
Can't remember if your 76 has the left side frame loop grab handle?
Yes, does have the frame loop but when mounting the rack, it was obvious the rack and frame loop would become intimate.
Once tightened down, they ended up hitting each other so I placed a small piece of rubber cut from an inner tube between the touching point.
I considered sending It back to the manufacturer but I lost the receipt.
