1982 XS650 Heritage Special - worth?

Good score Tom! The '82 HS is unique from the '83 as the fenders are factory painted. Not many, if any of the others are factory painted.
Lower side covers and the '650' logo chrome cam end covers are specific to the HS's.

I'd put a set of Standard handlebars on and ride.

That's most likely what I'll do for the rest of the season. Don't like the bars that are on it at all. It came with a windshield to, but I took that off before I took the pictures, I'm going to try and sell that if any one is interested.

Damn, the lower left cover is missing!

Looks good, 1050 seems fair from here.

Yeah, I noticed when I looked at it, but I'm not planning on keeping it like it is for long so no big deal, currently looking at some hardtail kits.

I'm in Newburgh, and the bike was forsale in Newburgh aswell.

Went to look at the bike this morning, and now it's sitting in my garage. The bike started up good, everything looked good and took it for a ride, it felt good. It needs a little work, but no big deal to me. I ended up paying $1150 for it, fair for both of us.

Will upload pictures soon.
Niiice price I hope you've enjoyed it these past 8 years

Been gone awhile but still got the ol bike, looks a little different now, older pic here but just went through it all again, few changes, just finished up new wiring to get rid of some of the old mess.

Also ended up picking up a new Yamaha bolt a couple years back now, nice bike.

Got an email about this thread, man time sure does fly by
