Looking at a fork swop using GSX-R 750 usd fork. I know I can slot in a rear wheel from a Bandit and the wheels are similar, and the Cognito moto offset front sprocket, but has anyone used a GSX-R rear wheel? If so, How did you deal with the offset.
Thanks in advance

The simplest rear wheel swap is a GS500 gives you about as much rear width as the XS motor can use and doesn't involve offsetting the chain.Pretty close to bolt and use. I have it on the YWAIN project with a radian swing arm, but no pics, mebbie I'll grab some today.

17 x 3.50 helps to grab the rotor, caliper and carrier also.

If you end up going with a wheel like gggGary's pic, I have a front wheel for you 20200503_114310.jpg
It comes with a speedometer drive for a 20mm axle (94 gsxr750) you could probably bore it out to 25mm if you can source appropriate bearings.

Can get bearings to suit that and keep the original forks I suppose. Where are you based, I’m WA

So you're looking to run 17" wheels on a hard tail? Do you have pics of what you've got in mind? If you go with an earlier gsxr750 (94-?) front forks they use a 20mm axle, the 04-05 and later use 25mm axle. Stock xs650 front axle is 17mm. I'm in Massachusetts and willing to ship this wheel if you want. PM me for details.

Note that sprocket is an aluminum custom. 530 that I had to modify to fit. The GS500 uses 520 chain.

Thanks guys. As the frame isn’t stock, and is pretty narrow at the back, gonna wait till it gets here again and do the front end swop. I’m wanting an aggressive looking hardtail look. This is stripped down bare frame
