You want barns eh?
Shot this on yesterday's ride also.
Pretty good bones and a roof to protect it.
Arched masonry windows a nice touch.

We'll have to get James involved.

I just returned from a 60 mile, 70 mph blitz on my ‘77. I didn’t stop to take photos I just felt like flying today. When I got home it was already 91 degrees on its way to 102 degrees today. I noticed while I was riding the odometer turn over 28,000 miles. That 5,000 more than when I first got it running. She’s a good old girl!

Must be the day for it. Rode 20 miles to my favorite lumber yard to buy a new blade for my table saw (it seems that cutting hardened screws is detrimental to their longevity...) and "got lost" coming home. Took my favorite blast out through the back country on the Black's Woods Road. Fairly sedate pace, only topped 80 MPH a couple of times...

A great photo ! Is that one from your collection?

I rode 134 miles this past Saturday around the Quabbin reservoir here in Massachusetts with my wife and a good group of friends. Stopped for lunch and icecream and some senic vistas, and managed to not take a single picture. Had great weather and a great time, hope to do it again soon. Next time I'll take pictures.

The road has been calling but, it's just been too dadburn HOT to ride. Well I got up early and got dressed to ride and took the SG on base to gas up found the BK had dine - inside again so, I did. Decided to go to Kitt Peak Observatories west of town here. Bike is running great. Still cool enough to not burn up as long as your not stopped. About 50 miles west of town is the turn off to head up the hill were the telescopes are and head down the road about 2 miles aaannndd its blocked off. WELLL Nuts. Change of plans. It's hot so lets turn around and head for the house. By the time I pull into the bikeport both the SG and I are tired and HOT! Didn't take many pics but here they are from a stop on the way home.

A local historian took me on a history ride today. We followed a Union Army map dated 1862.

Sherman marched 30,000 troops down this road.

There is the remains of a gas pump in the woods. This is the kind with glass bowl on top.

This house was on the 1862 map. It’s way off the road.

Sherman claimed he could see the steeples of Oxford from here.
