It’s not a 650.....

But still a twin. Since my 650 really doesn’t need any work I got this bad boy running over the winter. My sister’s grandkids love it. Rides like a vibrating bicycle and brakes, well, sort of. Makes 55 mph way too exciting. One of the kids got it up to an indicated 65 . I would have loved to have something like this back in ‘72 !

When I was in high school in the early 70’s those little Honda twins were everywhere, and virtually indestructible.
They were great motors. A high school buddy of mine rode a Honda CL350 , the high pipe scrambler from Phoenix to Billings Montana one summer, he rode it all over Montana then back to Phoenix, it never missed a beat!

I race 175's... here's a few pics of my race bikes (different frame than the SL but same engine essentially)... I was even at Leguna Seca this year w/AHRMA (Before all quarantine hell broke loose).

Great engines, so simple and fun to ride.
