I have a Ballistic evo2 8-cell battery that won't keep charge anymore and I need to replace, but they don't seem to make these anymore. Does anyone know where I might be able to pick one of these up, or know what happened to the company? They don't seem to exist anymore...

I'm also looking into alternatives like shorai and antigravity. Does anyone else use these?

I have a Shorai and works good. Got one big enough to run e-start and its still small to fit under the seat. 3rd season and never let me down, but I guess its only as good as the charging system lol

In my experience, Antigravity > Shorai. They also have a re-start function that'll only let the voltage drop so far, in order to leave enough juice to start the bike if there's some sorta parasitic drain or it hasn't been fully charged.

edit: Antigravity is also made in the US.

I am looking for the Anulax/Harbulary batteries for mine. But no one seems to have a line on these

Ballistic battery co is out of business . I use one but now I need to find a Shorai or perhaps Earthx as a replacement......

While pricy, my experience with an earthX in the EBR has been 100% positive. That battery kicks ass and takes names.
I'm one year in. It sat all winter, no shore charging, and then for a month or better between starts, broom broom. Kicks the big ole 1190 high compression twin with authority. (it's a big battery, 36 series)

WALT I didn't think you were still around here! I've been meaning to reach out to you, hope all is well.
Luckily I have another evo2 I bought a while back that's been sitting on the shelf, but I'll need to figure out what to do moving forward. Unfortunately I'll have to swap out or modify the battery mount from @Fox23 at some point, and I'm weighing my options now. Feels bad since the evo2 looks great and the mount is perfect.

Do you have any suggestions? The antigravity 8cell is smaller than the evo2 8cell, so I think I could just weld or screw the mount on top of a small battery box. The antigravity 8cell has less amps though, so I'm not sure if I should be considering something a little bigger

edit: I think I may have fried my r/r, my other battery is reading 15v+ after installing...or perhaps I'm not touching the posts correctly or my meter is off?

Thanks for confirming that for me :[

Ace in Oakland?!? Yep, still kicking. Started another XS build a few months ago... Would love to catch up!

edit: also - is it reading 15v+ while the bike is running, or ???
