Hey Guys,

I know there is a tone of stuff on here about PAMCO installs but none of it quite gets to the level of detail that I need (for my level of competence :)).
I bought this set up a while back from yamahaxs650.com and have been patiently waiting for my project to catch up.

I have 2 questions:

1) In the first photo - do I have the order of bits for the RIGHT side correct? Removing the mechanical advancer and replacing with the copper thingy. I assume I don't need the bit that Ive crossed out if I have the e-advancer even though it was supplies with the kit???

2) in my electronic doo-hicky. I've looked closely and the PCB says RED but has a GREEN wire going in, and visa versa for the RED wire. Is this right? Or do I need to wire red to green and green to red now between this and the blue box??

Many thanks in advance guys!!

Rgds,
Morgan

Answer to question 2--The wires are correct, the PC board is marked wrong. I'm not sure about question 1.......The ones I have used had a larger aluminum block no copper......

Thanks Tim. Appreciate the feedback. I was scratching my head for a while there!

Will need to let the project slow down now till the pamco is up to date.............

Tharts a real early pamco. The board has the wires soldered properly, but as mentioned, the board was stenciled wrong.........The other thing is that copper spacer is no good. They are to soft and where the groove is for the pin it wallows out and throws the timing out and destroys the copper spacer.......On the early ones it was found the magnets also come loose and fall out.Pamco Pete solved this problem with a flat washer type of alloy plate that goes on the outside of the Rotor

Thanks Skull.
Patience is virtue and I'm happy to let the Pamco catch up :)
I've tried looking online for the replacement for the copper spacer abut don see it sold separately.... am I looking at needing to get a whole replacement kit? Or any ideas who sells these individually now that Pamco Pete has unfortunately closed the doors?

Thanks again.
