Toddling across Iowa

2fwr after Baxters cycle, a vintage brit bike room to die for. Then the banquet, and we found a car show too.

Tomorrow a ride down to the kamakazi bike museum. And that'll wrap things up.
 
New. Had an insurance payout, went right to the Yamaha dealer and bought the TX650A and an SC500 dirt monster.
Mine had 1100 miles on it
It was too big for the previous owner
You must have been single to get 2 bikes at once
 
60 miles to a motorcycle, junkyard/museum in a monsoon, pour water out of your shoes and ring out your socks wet. But i had a nice windshield, Last mile on gravel slash mud. Phone cam got wet.

Youtube kamakazi cycle for some better pics. Headed home mon morning. I'm wimping, bikes in JPs trailer Gregs rolling at 7am but weather looks better .

Ouch!! I actually read an xs650 road test from the 70's where the tester mentioned they got zapped after washing the bike! so it may not be as uncommon as it would seem (though I think it was the indicator switch that caused it on that occasion IIRC)
