Just FYI I ordered some parts form his website directly. He sent me the incorrect clutch and admitted this and offered to send me the right one. However I also ordered a piston kit and it was missing the rings. He then got upset and wants me to send everything back to him for a refund. I offered to buy the rings from him and he refused. I spent $128 with shipping and return shipping is $130. I think he knows this and intentionally ripped me off. He claims he doesnt understand. I sent a message on ebay (he didnt know it was me) and I asked if the kit comes with the rings, and he replied yes and understood what I was asking.

Im not sure if he is dishonest or incompetent.

We'll, sorry about your experience with him. Hopefully this is just an outlier.... and yeah, that don't help you does it....
I've dealt with him several times and have always found 'em competent and prompt.
Here's a thread where others have had good dealings also.

Do not buy from this scumbag. He has no honor and has many issues with this business. A 12 year old can fulfill orders better than him.
I've dealt with him and have had no problems. Good product and fast shipper.
Would you care to post some evidence of your dealing with him.
I see you just joined here. Did you join just to bash him???

The main thing I was incorrect about is the $40 return shipping, that what it cost him to ship to me so I assume similar cost. Its 4 times the amount due to the trade differences between countries.

Thanks Jim, I wish I would have seen that thread before buying. The fact he has "many issues with Ebay" should be a dead give away he is dishonest or incompetent. Im not sure which one it is.

Well, I'm gonna push back a little. Here's the thing... We're dealing with 40-50yr old bikes where parts are no longer made by the factory. In the grand scheme of things... the demand for parts for these old bikes is precious little. There are people out there... like Crusinimage that fill that need. They find the vendors willing to make the parts... they do all the legwork to give us parts that are, in my opinion, good quality at a reasonable price. I'm just speaking for myself here, but without people like Crusinimage, my well running XS would still be a box of parts sitting in my garage. There's been vendors in the past that just closed shop because they got badmouthed one too many times and decided it wasn't worth the BS and loss of sales.
I'm sure we all here have bad experiences we can share.... and if we raised enough hell we could probably force a lot of vendors to close because everyone quit buying from 'em. Then where would we be? I'll tell ya where... we'd be in our garages staring at a box of bike parts wishing we could find the stuff to make 'em run again...but we can't 'cause we ran all the vendors out of business... is where we'd be.
You had a bad experience. That sucks. But don't cut off your nose to spite your face.
I and many others here have had good experiences with Crusinimage. I'm of the opinion that yours was an outlier... get over it.

For the record I am over it but I want to share MY experience for others to consider, as there are others who have also had a negative experience. I will tell you the first time you run into an issue you will also be in the same boat. Once again, the issues with Ebay are a clear sign. Im sure he would spin it as he being the victim of course.

I agree that my experience could be an outlier, but you have to admit based on the chat, I bent completely over backwards to make the transaction a success and he just refuses. He knows I cant send the parts back so he wins. Thats dishonest and Im sorry but if a business wants to be dishonest they deserve to go out of business. Implying I should just get ripped off and not let others know is total BS.

I've bought multiple sets of pistons and rings, various hard to find floats, carb manifolds, gasket sets, etc., from Cruzinimage and have had nothing but a positive experience. I've communicated directly through email with him and, while apparent that English is not his first language (which may be part of the issue if you'd had a bad experience), he was always prompt to respond to questions. I am certainly grateful for this vendor where you can buy what seems to be quality products at a very reasonable price. Been running his pistons and rings in my XS's with very good results, just as others have reported.

No I don't "admit" that. It looks to me like a Japanese/english communication problem that could have been worked through... until you resorted to telling him he acted like a child and was getting mad at you. I'm pretty sure a few more conversations could have worked through the language problems and made both of you happy.
Implying I should jsut get ripped off and not let others know is total BS.
Putting words in others mouths is seldom useful. Try re-reading what I said.

It's also interesting to note that you joined a Yamaha XS650 site to point out a bad experience ordering Honda CB350 parts. Posting this on the Honda forums wasn't enough? You felt the need to "warn" us Yamaha guys too? There's Suzuki and Kawasaki forums out there also.... don't forget about them.
At what point does... "but I want to share MY experience for others to consider" become just plain ol' vindictiveness....

Im also a Yamaha guy but thanks. Its very clear you dont like my experience and we all wish it didnt happen. IF only it were a simple communication error, what a crock.

I shared my facts with evidence, you have shared your opinion of my transaction based on nothing. Have a good night.

Its all good. People can read up and make their conclusions on where to order stuff. But sharing information is the best way to help them do that.

Absolutely. Based on my personal experience and the experience of others here and in the other thread you shared this info on, the common theme seems to be your experience is an outlier.

Nothing? My opinion is based on what I've read and personally experienced..... which is literally dozens of positive experiences and your 1 negative experience. Perhaps you could point me to other negative experiences? If not, then yours would appear to be the outlier I'm of the opinion it is. My opinion can be changed, but it's gonna take more than just one example.
Btw... glad to see you moderated your title and first comment. :D

I'm sure there was an error on Cruzin's part. It appears your first action was opening a paypal dispute. That is a pretty heavy way to start working through an issue with a vendor. Having spent a bunch of time on both sides of the "sales counter" the implied threat route does not encourage friendly reaction.
I am currently in a dispute with a Banggood vendor that misrepresented a product, we went back and forth 5-6 times before I felt they were not going to correct the situation and finally pulled the paypal dispute gun. I really thought about it before going to that option. The final outcome on this todo is unknown at this point.
PS I have done a fair amount of business directly with Cruz'n, mebby $2K worth, all good.

Thank you for sharing your experience with Cruzinimage. Sorry it was a bad one.
You are the first person I've seen post with a problem with Cruzinimage. I hope it does not become a trend.
