My bike stopped running on the right cylinder last week. It would start and idle but if i tried to drive it it would just run on left cylinder. Twisting the throttle i only heard the slide on the left side so i took the right side off and sure enough the lil nub thing on the bottom had fell off and it was totally disconnected. Luckily i had another cable and i just changed that today. Im not sure how to really sync carbs i eyeballed it and it starts great now seems to idle fine but once i get moving it spudders on the same cylinder. Then once i slow down it dont wanna idle again till i start it back up. I got my air screw at one turn out. TBH i hate asking questions on here because i only ask when i need something. I did search everywhere for a little guidance but i dont even know where to start. i got a 78

i watched a youtube video that said first and most common problem is the pilot jets they are first to clog because they have the smallest openeng? But i dont even know where it is or how to clean it.

Heyde!.
My first worry is where did the little throttle cable blob go? :yikes:
Then we need to see a pic or tell us what carbs you got.
Then google or youtube motorcycle carb synch and figger out the how to. Get em synched either on your own, or find a local that will do it and instruct HOW to do it.

A suggestion; if it was running good before the cable broke Do NOT start chasing other "might be" problems. Cuz without experience it's too easy to create new problems, making troubleshooting very difficult.
