We got your simmering summer here. Busted a record today with a 107*F. We wish it would rain! It's another NONsoon season like last year. 3 more weeks for the season. (Sigh)

California wildfires have turned the skies over Arizona orange, this photo doesn’t really do it justice. Everything outside has a weird orange glow to it. It looks overcast, but that’s smoke.....from a long ways away.

Yup, 93 on Monday, 35 today. Looking for a low of 28 tonight. Snowing in Longmont (35 miles NW of Denver) now. Had to put on Levi's...1st time since May.

Sunny again today. An opportunity that won't be missed, even though it has turned cooler. Today's high forecast at 14°C, which Google tells me is 57°F.
Night-time temps are much lower. Which is a worry, because if there is even a remote chance that in sheltered spots there could be a touch of frost then all those cooncil trucks will be out spreading salt . . .

Wisconsin temps went from 80 to 55 like it saw a state trooper on the overpass.
It is damp and cool right now here in the Windsor/Detroit region - after a tremendously hot summer.
In the last few weeks we have had a great deal of rain which has caused extensive flooding in the city - most unfortunate for many folks.
