New Game: Old Garage Photo w/your XS

Those are great guys! In both of those photos you can clearly see the bones of the old gas station. That design of two service bays and a small glass windowed Office were ubiquitous for decades. Inside the office is where you paid for your gas and maybe bought a candy bar , a bottle of pop or a pack of cigarettes.

Yesterday marked the 51st anniversary of Woodstock, "three days of peace, love and music", so we decided to take a toke, err, a ride Upstate,NY, near there. We went over the Walkway Over the Hudson, then we went to the walkway under the Walkway Over the Hudson. Then we started heading back, through the woods. On Rt 17M in Montgomery, I saw this tractor shop in an old barn with all these old tractors outside, so I stopped to take some pictures. Across the street, I saw this this new brick building all lit up...

So, I walked over and was surprised to see that I was standing in front of Pauly Teuful Jr.'s Design Studio. I'm sure most of you know he was on the show, Orange County Choppers. I couldn't get great pictures of the show room, due to the glare , but I think there's an Indian trail bike in there along with an early V-twin and gaudy choppers. If you want to see more, you can google Pauly. and see all the bikes he designed. In Wickapedia, it said he signed a "no competition " clause for one year, following his split from Orange County Choppers, so he designed the Montgomery dog park and redesigned the Coleman grill and previously worked in iron works, designing things for the railroad. Fourteen years ago, on the day we scattered my friend's ashes in Greenwood Lake, we were headed to the Castle Tavern in Awosting with his family for lunch, and Pauley Jr. went by the other way on a chopper.

Sorta Western Looking in South Buxton
Put 58 km on new blue this afternoon. Doing short expeditions from home and returning to shut off and restart. So far so good. After I replaced the brushes and cleaned the regulator, it charges at 12.8 or so at idle and higher 13's to just over 14 occasionally at 2500 or so.

It's always great to see another Old Garage !
In my escapades to the Catskill mountains this summer, I'm always on the hunt for an undiscovered garage.
I'll have to find one before the calendar flips.

Waking an Old Thread with my '77.
Really warm spring day ride on the way to where the Thames River flows into Lake St. Clair, stopped for a shot for another thread celebrating spring and see this old sign standard in front of an old garage, now appearing to be a residence.
At least no one came out and yelled at me. Really like those red tins over the stock blue '77 ones.

Kept catching cars, so not a definitive test yet, but smooth, solid and no wobbles so far. They don't look near as cool though
