HURRICANE ! For those of you who enjoy Brit bikes in general and Hurricanes specifically ( Me Me! )
Here’s a couple of videos I just watched on YouTube. I didn’t want to clutter Greg’s Hurricane thread up with these.
This one is roughly 30 minutes, a professional restorer gets a really clean Hurricane that has been stored for 20 years road worthy again.
And in this one, this guy inherited a non runner and talks about getting it up and running again.

He drained 20 year old gas out of it, and it still ran!
Surprised he re-used the broken sump gasket.
Best part: the road test. Wonderful exhaust note.

The test ride on country roads of the Hurricane reminded me of the beginning of the Lawrence of Arabia film,
but with a better finish.

Tickets booked to take the RD 700 to the Burt next Feb. Went there in 2016? the last time it was run in November the weather was so bad they now run it in February.
