Stripped screw

I just stripped the small screw that holds the pickup coil please tell me this can be fix without complete tear down losing my F ing mind
 
The threads the screw is fine was doing an adjustment I guess it’s not meant to be taken in and out to much I’m very careful on the tightening of it

If the threads in the hole are OK, you can just go to the hardware store for a new one. It's a 4X.7 mm. Don't remember the length... prolly about 6-7mm.
 
If the receiving threads are bunged up, you could first try chasing/cleaning them with the proper-sized tap, plus a new screw.
If that is inadequate, you could tap threads the next size.

Careful not to let metal filings fall below.
 
I'm looking at that pic and guess I don't understand what pickup we are talking about.
 
It’s a Hugh’s Pma the pickup coil has two small screws the hole itself stripped not the screw the picture is of the hole
