going to 2nd oversize

Got some 78mm rings and a head gasket from Cruzin back in November, shipping was under $15 IIRC

But you are a excellent parts polisher.

Ha! I’m in the union!

Mike's guides; you may need to chase the mounting bolt threads a bit, the threads, holes are often crude, not so straight. Other than that they seem to do fine.
I could feel mine was not going to take the torque recommended in the manual, before anything bad happened, so I seem to have gotten by using plenty of blue locktite. Threads or material, don't know what was the problem. Threads looked alright and holes were at the right angle, unlike some pictures.

^2nd oversize implies his cylinder walls are too worn or damaged to use the original pistons, and 1st oversize pistons too? (piston to cyl clearance would be out of spec after cyls are fixed)

Sorry. Assuming the cylinders are not requiring any bore change.

Well, if your originals are still good and in spec, I don't really see any benefit to getting new ones. Cruzinimage doesn't even sell 1st oversize pistons. 1st oversize only being 1/4 of a MM, many times that's not enough to clean up the damage or wear in used cylinders. You end up skipping up the the 2nd oversize (.50 or 1/2 MM).
