All I know is, I looked out the window and saw this going on in the backyard. Snowing! It's not unheard off but it doesn't happen very often here in Tucson. It was gone in an hour. It never lasts very long.

6+ inches of heavy, wet snow overnight and now it's 30° and sleeting, supposed to turn to rain in a while.
Someday when I can do it without every other word being profanity, I'll tell you about getting my snowblower hooked up yesterday. Hasn't moved out of the barn in two years. Blower itself wasn't too bad, but the tractor was being a PITA due to a.....um...."less than optimal"... design of the hydro transmission linkage.

They're calling it the Beast from the East. Siberian airflow till at least the later part of the week. Low daytime temps, feels bloody freezing with the windchill factor. Cold nights too. Supposed to be some snow but we've only had a light dusting. There's even snow in the forecast for SE England and London. Jeepers! They go completely daft when they see snow that far south!
