What is the average age of this group ?

I am 60 and was in two bad motorcycle accidents and had my last rights twice BUT just can't get enough of bikes. Love to build them and see what people build to get more ideas. DON"T CARE what people think about my builds What customer wants customer gets. I made TV in the 90 on a program of cars and bikes in accidents. I was riding a TOP FUEL DRAG BIKE and blew up at 180 MPH Heads came off broke three ribs damaged my heart and someone got the shot of a big ball of flame with me in it. I think i fell alot went i was a kid. Three weeks later i was on the bike again. I just love the industry and the people you meet NOW i just build and ride you young guys can do the crazy shit my bones are OLD!!! HAHA

35 here,
If mini bikes count I bought mine when I was 11 off another kid for 50 bux and rode it around in chicago always having to run from the cops.

First street bike I was 14 , traded a gameboy for an enduro with a messed up clutch so when u kicked it into gear it just took off. I had no idea how to fix it so just rode it that way.
Things have continued to progress from there.
So 20-24 yrs

I'm 50. Rode a little in my early twenties but crashed early and that was a good thing. I would have died if I continued to ride I'm certain. Got back on a bike about 6 years ago. My wife asked if I was having a mid-life crisis. My answer is I can afford it now. I have had my XS about 2-3 years. I've had about 6 other bikes too since I started riding again. Flipped a couple but mostly had two at a time.

A member who is no longer with us and that I miss is XSJohn. He would have been 64 this upcoming June 23. I wonder what his reply would have been. :bike:

20 Years old, riding Since I was 12. Started on pop's '97 XR 200, then bought my own CRF 150F from Honda in 2003. Now the current stable is '75 Yamaha XS 650, 1991 Suzuki DR 350 (winter restoration)

Hi, 45 years here. I started with my Honda CD50cc 1977 (fourstroke) when I was 16, did a lot of work and learning on that one........good memories. I learned that if you press the front down while the hydraulic filling bolts are off, you get hydraulic fluid in your face!
Anyway I drove for two years back then, and started riding again last summer when my XS came in a box from Texas.
