Ordered 5 more new Yamaha steels to complete the sets I have. Alto says a 6 to 8 week lead time to order more, my cost hasn't changed prolly need to bump the price a bit cuz well I'm about breaking even on each sale but making it up on volume LOL

Hey Gary - that is very similar to the business model used by General Motors - they lose money on every sale but they make it up by selling a huge volume of cars and trucks.

I ordered one of the 750 kits tonight so I’m gonna need one of these to go with it! I have plenty of steels from dad’s stash so just need the friction plates. Let me know how this works payment wise Gary.

Ok i ordered 40 SETS. 7 sets should be here in a week or so, the rest in April .

Pricing in USD, current as of 2-2021
8 Alto frictions shipped to USA address $100
add for one new Yamaha steel $10
Shipping overseas; at actual cost - the $8 US shipping cost
Shipping is in a padded priority envelope so you can check a price to your country I will make customs forms at the correct selling price.
I bought and sold out of 25 sets in 2020 and ordered 40 more sets as of 2-2021
This is known to work in 74-79 clutches later clutch baskets need to be machined to remove the half plate and spring and accept 8 plates. I have not tried a set in an early basket yet.

gggGary, I received the package this morning; (a couple of days after my post saying I was interested)! awesome service I can’t say enough, I just wish other people and companies would be so open to shipping their products internationally (jets”r”us) you are a shining example of x650 people on this site around the world, thanks again

I should have a stock of Alto plates and Yamaha steels by Monday. I normally get to Madison every other week or so. But the shipping is not expensive and included in the price.

Four sets shipped Friday, thanks guys!
Got new shipments of plates and steels today so the store is open again.
I got in 8 sets of plates with a possible European buyer for 4, 4 sets still available.
When these are gone Alto says 45 to 60 days for the rest of my plate order to be produced.
