Museum 3.jpg Museum 1.jpg Museum 5.jpg Museum 6 tire.jpg Museum 7.jpg Museum 8.jpg Museum 9.jpg Museum 12.jpg Museum Chief.jpg Museum poster.jpg Museum 11.jpg Last weekend I attended the AMCA Omaha Chapter show-swap meet. ( I didn't post photos here) Also checked out Baxter Cycle in Iowa and their new store in Omaha. (again didn't post photos here). My brother, a retired Wing Nut (USAF), lives in Omaha and works part time at his wives floral-warehouse location. As a result he visit many smaller towns in the area making delivers to other floral shops. He got a lead on a motorcycle museum in Tecumseh, Neb (pop 1167). So after the AMCA meet.. which took all of 30 minutes.... we drove the 60 miles south of Omaha for the museum. Upon arrival " CLOSED FOR THE SEASON ". .. " call for appointment ". I called for ..appointment. Ten minutes later we're getting a tour of the museum. It's a private endeavor ....with approx 50 motorcycles.. two of which he obtained from the Steve McQ sale. He host several events during the season. this year the " Woman's Riders " group. So if you're on your way thru Nebraska on the way to the Speedway museum (5 stars), the S.A.C. museum (5 stars) ... Harold Warp museum (5 stars).... swing by and and have a visit.

That’s very cool! I love little private museums. Some years ago my wife and I were staying in Solvang California, strategically located near the Santa Barbara wine vineyards. I was always on the lookout for anything motorcycle related and I found the Solvang Motorcycle museum. I went there and found the same thing as you, a locked up museum with a sign saying call this phone number to get in. This was in a business park, I called the number and in a few minutes a nice young woman walked up, took my $5 and sat at a desk in the front while I had the museum to myself. They had some exceedingly rare motorcycles there, from what I remember the collection was just the passion of a wealthy local man.
