Hello Forum folk,
I have a new-to-me 1979 bike and am looking for a windshield for it.
I'm hoping to find something that doesn't overpower the look of the bike.
When Ive selected a couple of possibles online, the 'fitment' spec's aren't able to confirm whether theyd fit my bike.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
John S

This is what I’m running on my ‘77, I really like it. I wrote a little review of it here,

I'm running the same Givi. I recommend it too.

I’ve had a couple of National Cycle windshields. I can recommend them without reservation. I’m sure they have whatever size you want.
I’ve also had a couple of Slipstreamers. Also good, but I like the NC product much better. The Spitfire was pretty cheesy.

Take a look at the National Cycle Mohawk. I'm running a National Cycle Flyscreen, it's really only big enough to screen your gauges, but the mounting system is stellar. The Mohawk uses the same mounting system and is a good size, and it looks very cool, in my opinion. The only downside I see is that they don't seem to offer it in clear.

Thanks again, gents
I went with the Givi - as recommended
It arrived today. Going on tonight

I think you’ll like it, it has infinite adjustability, not too big or too small. I’ve had several different aftermarket windshields and so far this is my favorite. Big enough to take most of the wind blast off of your body but small enough that your helmet isn’t being buffeted by turbulent air. It’s just a nice medium sized shield.
Good luck.
