I am interested in getting the tc bros king and queen seat on my 76 xs650. I am having some trouble understanding how to go about doing this...my seat mount screw configuration makes no sense to me...I could use some advice...the picture shows what I have to work with. What exactly needs to be done here to get the tc bros king and queen seat to fit ?

That picture isn't really informative. Not even sure what I'm looking at, steel, fiberglass or Bondo. Or all three.....A picture from the side showing the entire frame from rear end of tank to the loop. And a similar pic from above, will give some more to work with.

Looking at this pic on my phone, i thought the pics had got mixed up and it was a concrete floor with oil-stains on it...........now on my laptop i can see its not.... but it still looks like a concrete floor with oil stains on it...;)

You say your want to get the seat, then ask how to fit it...........do you have the seat, if so some pics and/or measurements or a mock up ??
you will need to brace the rear guard

You will need to get a seat in your hands first. But you will need to drill holes in your chain stay plate and back fender to correspond with the threaded holes in the seat. Or fabricate a tab to bolt to the rear threaded hole in the seat that sticks out past the back of the seat to receive a fender bolt. You will need a sissy bar to support the upper portion of the seat as well.

Not seat related. BUT.
How are you planning to top up that brake fluid reservoir, when it is oriented about 90 degrees away from what it is designed for?
If you want to go with that handlebar, a sport bike master cylinder with a separate fluid reservoir MAY work.

Yeah...that is another hurdle I will address. I was actually thinking about a low straight handlebar...still kind of up in the air on it.

What chopper guys do.....buy the damn thing and make it fit. Measure, cut, grind, weld...cuss. Cuss some more. It gets done, stare at it and smile. Have you fixed your frame yet? I'm serious, some of those welds are bad.
