The relay on the CDI system is to adapt the handlebar kill switch. The stock system supplies 12v to the ignition when in the on position. The kill sw on a CDI system shorts the system to prevent spark. The relay uses the 12v from the kill switch to open the relay.When the kill switch is in the off position the relay closes the contacts shorting the CDI to stop the spark.
How many MM of stretch is your hardtail? Really you should not need a chain tensioner with a hard tail if you have a properly sized chain. The saddle pivot point location will depend on seat size, tank location, peg location, height of the rider, and seat spring location.
I' weld my pivot mount there but move the seat back away from it. you don't want the pivot directly under the seat.
Vertical is best, but I believe that will be okay.

Bonjour. Mine has the standard 19" up front laced to an old YZ drum and the standard 16" rear which suits the hardtail style. I also like a 21" front on longer forked bikes.
