I don’t think I’ve seen your bike before. Very nice! :)

@gggGary are those bag stand-offs home made or did you buy them? I've been contemplating bending up a set but I'm just trying to figure out if its cost effective.
gggGaryized set from a Roadstar.

Very happy with them after many thousands of miles

You don’t know “Madness” ? Here let me introduce you…..in here lies the evolution. Btw @gggGary are you still running those big 38mm carbs?

No they got swapped during the "Big" tuning thrash for a new set of VM34's that accidentally showed up here.
It ran well on those honkers and wide open megaphones but it was tuned for a 5K to redline (and beyond) rush. gggGary kinda mashed/flattened the power band to a broader, lower, shape. Prolly threw some horse power on the floor but better suited for old man, street use.

Took the 650 out this morning to a local car show. It's held the same day as the Atlanta Caffeine and Octane hoping the riff raff stays there.
A beautiful 40 min ride thru North GA horse county to get there and a pretty good turnout for a Holiday weekend.

Came home and decided I can no longer continue to ignore my oil leak issue

In my part of Mississippi today, the temperature is in the seventies. There’s a wall of black sky hanging over Arkansas. I just did a nice 100 mile loop east to west along the north shore of Lake Sardis. No traffic as usual. I filled up with E0 before coming home. My SK covers 55 miles on a gallon of 87 octane gasoline.

Just put 100-ish miles on the FJ.

Found to my great pleasure that two of my favorite roads have been or are being repaved. Great ride with twisties and lots of scenery but the surface had been going to pot for 2-3 years and last year one of them was just torture to ride. All nice new pavement now tho!

Had a temporary loss of composure at the gas station. Lines at every pump and the douche bag millennial couple in front of me decided that was the perfect place to unpack and repack their hatchback full of camping gear and groceries. I mentioned in a helpful, yet unmistakable way that there was an ENTIRE PARKING LOT right behind them to do that, rather than blocking a pump.

May not have used my inside voice, couldn't tell for sure, had my hearing aids out and my earplugs in...

Wow Marty what pretty countryside! That sandwich looked good too! Gonna have to take a nap after that! :laugh2:
