What year cylinder will work on my Gs650? I will have the sleeve removed and a 750 sleeve installed. What year cylinder will work?

Wisco ..? Believe yours is a 257 engine.... so double check application. I'm not a fan of the Mike's replacement big bore juggs.... Yeah.. it " works " but disrupts the visual lines of the Xs engine. I prefer sleeve'n.

Yamahaxs650.com has the pistons kits and the sleeves and head and base gasket. Will these work on a 72? I still will need a jug.

You can use you juggs (cylinder).... a shop will heat them... old sleeves drop out.. they bore the juggs.... heat them..insert new sleeves.. bore sleeves to pistons.. then deck the top. Not that expensive .... I've done several 750 kits....

No they are for 447 engines.
Gary Hoos has 256 big bore kits. Note they are 10.5 to 1 compression.

Who did you use? How much was the total cost?

I using Yamahaxs650.coms kit but I'm replacing the 256 crank with a 447 crank. Cam has to be changed also.

Just a thought…I’ve no idea is this will work, just throwing it at the wall as they say…

could you pop the sleeves out of a xs performance big bore kit, machine out a standard barrel and stick in all the 750 guts?

I saw one on eBay recently for a decent price.
