Do the tank and rear fender!... but try to make the flames symmetrical... that's the challenge... Did it on a friend's Honda 350. Anemic, but cool as s#!t! 3 color fade (red, to orange, to yellow) baked, so it all "melted" together. *sorry, no pictures, so it must not have happened.....

Flames can be cool. At one point, had a Victory Hammer with tribal flames - does that make sense? - looked a bit like this:

Course, mine had different headlight shell, a few other small changes, and a stage 2 or 3 tune. Wasn't lacking in torque . . .

Still have the original tank, painted the same way, it just wasn't in the plans, until Pennsylvania required a front fender for inspection, so I just threw it on there.
Does Penn have an "Antique" plate that no longer requires a yearly inspection? Or are there other issues with that type of plate?

Yes they do. . .if you take this type of plate, they generously allow you to ride 1 day a week!!!!
The good side is, you only pay for a registration once, the plate stays with the bike forever, at least in Pa. and yes, no inspection.

We have a vintage club plate system here, you can have 3 or 4 bikes for less than the price of 1 normal registration, I know a few guys who have multiple bikes to get around the limit on days you can ride, I’ve always wanted a bike with flames!

No special perks like that in Pa. Just pay pay pay. No local police to watch anyway. Less than 10 miles to NY or NJ to ride freely. Hopefully more flames to come? Glad to see I wasn't alone!
