Fittings for gas tank

What fittings are recommended for capping unused threaded outlets on fuel tanks? I’ve got an “extra” 1/4 and 3/8 outlet. Thnx

Sorry...I'm not sure what you're asking? Sounds like an aftermarket tank... if you have two extra outlets that are threaded and need to cap them, probably any brass end-cap with the correct thread pitch and fuel safe gasket would do. Some tanks have a balance port for left/right side balancing and a hose that connects the two...fyi.

If they are female pipe thread, then brass Pipe Thread plugs with teflon tape would be my choice. Most any plumbing aisle or auto store should have them. Pipe thread is tapered so the fit gets tighter as you thread them in.
