Here is all the left over parts from when I stripped the bike. Bike had 14k miles on it when it was torn down. I’m keeping a few things like the shifter, brake pedal, pegs, mounts, front brake.

pretty much anything you see in the pictures is free. Just come and grab it. Only things I’m looking for is someone that can make me a chopper seat and someone that can convert my neck to accept Harley front ends. Point me to those people!

I’m located in Thousand Oaks California 91320

Perhaps none of my business
But 12 o clock on the first picture is a rectangular box that can be the ignition Box which runs with the alternator.
Something perhaps needed for the project
Is freight a possibility to Europe I pay for it
What type of Chopper seat are you after ...

Hey there, actually that happens to be the only part that’s claimed so far. I apologize!

Also! I don’t expect a custom seat or any labor in exchange for these parts, just looking to get pointed in the right direction to someone who can do that stuff! (I could probably make a seat but some things should be done by a person of that craft)

Ignition box is spoken for

I have done some Sheet metal work and Own a couple of leather sewing machines
The sewing was much more difficult than i believed .. Especially with the car industry fast machines
First time you see it It was jaw dropping.
The bottom steel ( Or aluminum ) of the saddle I believe pretty much any sheet metal shop can do.
Those I have seen are not bent more than one way

So it can be done in that type of machine

I don't think it is a difficult job If we are talking the simpler types of saddles .
He gets the measurements and roll it . Perhaps you can have a cardboard template with you for the
curvature. And size

Then it is the padding thickness and leather work ..Depending how fancy one wants it.
A simple saddle and if not so high demands on the looks It can be done by oneself ...is doable
Hand stitching even .
If it is going to look better I would talk to the ladies doing work for horse equipment.
Saddle repairs for horses and so. Sister / Girlfriend / Wife -- can be an option
The people that repair furniture ( Dont know the English word for the craftsman ) can do it I once did a saddle in vinyl for XS650 .Not expensive with work and all
And shoemakers can do it and have machines.

Leather is expensive .So one low budget trick is to find an old leather sofa and cut the leather off the back .
Where it is not worn or pale from the sun.
So it can be simple or it can be artistic and expensive the sky is the limit

I looked and I didn’t see anything. Excuse the ignorance, but what is it? Looks like the holes match up the exhaust mount?
They’re muffler hangers for a Special or Special II

I don't need any parts but I just wanted to say hello from a former Ventura County kid (in the 70s).

Yup, me too. Go Flashes!......................

right on! Always nice to hear from people that are or were once local. Let me ask you guys this, back in the 60’s and early 70’s…do you remember an Italian restaurant on Thousand Oaks Blvd named House of Orlando’s? That was my Grandpas restaurant! I always have to ask when someone says they were around back then. Haha.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend
