One more weld at the Short end perhaps ?? if there is a solid plug inside the pipe .., grind it up a little + one more weld

Knowing Rustie... and considerin' he's got a brand new TIG box, I bet he goes back over all the welds and pretty's 'em up when he tears it back down.

@Jan_P yeah the PO’s handy work is pretty unsightly. I’ll be grinding all the MIG goobers off and going back over them.

I'm way out of practice and only have a 120v Flux core so mine aren't much better than factory
Started working on my forward “oil tank” mount. I think I found every dull drill bit I own drilling the hole

Got my lower forward “oil tank” mount welded up.
Got my gonzo box mounted in my “oil tank” which about wraps up my electronics, wiring will all be done after the bike is painted and reassembled. Put a
Zerk in my rear brake pedal. Pegs and rear brakes are about all that’s left before I tear this back apart for clean up, final welding, and paint.

I wasn’t really happy with my seat, so I decided to go a different route. I ordered a cobra seat from TC Bros. I’m pretty happy with the way it looks.
