750 Big Bore Kits

So who makes the best XS Big Bore Kit?

I have seen a few on the market, just wondering who is running one and why they chose that one over the others? Are they happy with it?

Besides the "semi" commercial ones I think there might be an Aussie making some.

Another point how many are also rephased?

Mikes XS Performance bolt on kit works well for me. Gets me to and from work each day.

I would say most people who buy this also do a re-phase.

Is that Mikes new finned kit or the original?

I guess I will let you know soon enough. I am currently rebuilding my engine (friend is actually doing most of it, I am there to hand tools and comic relief)

I will have a rephased 750 going once I get it all back up. Right now I have it all back together today I am working on engine painting as of lately. Next step is to put the case covers back on and figure out the new ignition and fire her up.

I got my 750 kit from Mikes b/c it has larger cooling fins.

Which rephase did you do, apperantly there are two types (diff degrees) & a few manufacturing options. I think punkskalr on here is making some.

277 degree and punkskalar rephased my crank and cam.

Mikes kit was actually developed by Heiden Tuning http://www.xs650.biz/ out of the Netherlands mikes does sell 650cc big fin replacment cylinders same as the 750 kit

Correct, a lot of parts actually come from Heiden Tuning.

hi hieden performance in germany ....made the 750 cc top end kit for mikesxs.... and the cams as well .....they are well known for great performance items.... i notice your in aust.... if you chase up david taylor from baxter in victoria he,s well worth bending his ear.....regards oldbiker
