Sold the XS2

My XS2 sold the other day. I guess the market is still healthy for these because after putting my add on craigslist i got a total of 13 calls in 4 days and ended up selling it to the second guy who looked at it and rode. I hope he enjoys it as much as I did. It was a great first bike and fun to learn to ride and work on.

I'd like to get another motorcycle (or 2) at some point but for now I needed the space in my little garage for a boat project I have. Maybe I'll get another xs at somepoint.

I really enjoyed lurking on here, 650rider, and 650 garage over the past 6 years....it's been a good ride.

Good luck to all of you keeping these old bikes going, and keep them on the street. As much as I enjoyed looking at the choppers and bobbers and artistic work that some of you guys are cpapable of, can someone please keep a 72 xs2 stock because I'd sure love to see one ride past me 20 years down the road.

Good luck with the boat! And yes lot's of interest in the old xs, there have been several barn finds around here that disappeared so fast it wasn't funny!
