Aahh... excuse me, but isn't Hans Prost & INXS one & the same person? That's OK Hans... Self congratulations are very well deserved!

I really dig the cafe racers; Without a doubt, the Ducati looks like it was inspired by the Mad Max movie and Han's cafe racer was perhaps inspired by a Ducati.

Hi Guys, just a correction on this thread and to give credit where it's due, the bike was built by Shinya Kimura of " Chabott Engineering"formally of "Zero"He left Zero in 2006 and struck out on his own. I'm a big fan of this artisan and just want him to get due credit. My own work is heavily influenced by his.

:agree::agree:

Gordon I saw that bike and him on the show New American Thunder and although the cafe's and that particular style isn't my style. The way that he leaves it looking industrial like a steam engine crossed with a street bike. His bikes are the most appealing to me in the class of Cafe-ish bikes.

sometimes, I've had it with how "fabulous" these designer bikes are lol. don't get me wrong, the bikes look like it took a lot of skill and work, but people need to get over the steampunk thing. back to traditional racers please!

edit* hans bike is sick.

There's something for everyone, Twinsarehot. I love to see what people come up with. If it breaks with tradition, it's ok with me. I don't have to like it. I like bikes that look like people made them with their hands.

For me, I'm not high on the rat genre or the over the top billet bikes. I had my time with rigids, like the look hate the ride.

I think it is remarkable how many directions the XS is taken. I'm not aware of any other model that has inspired such diversity and creativity at a grass root level.
