my little tribute to the 70's
about 10 years ago when i first started building real choppers
i was obsessed with the old 70's "street chopper" magazines
and i loved the long springers and crazy paint jobs
so on this bike i figured to go to extremes
blue sprocket cut engine, tall fishtails, 2 gallon headlamp and the prism tank

i've got just 2 laps around the block on her so far but man great to be back on a
long low beast of a bike, bars may be a bit tall for me but i think i can rock them back a little and they can work

Not my style of bike at all BUT, man what a great job! The theme is so complete and very well executed. Great job man!!!

I love it. Great job steve. Who did the paint? Knowing what my paint cost I can't imagine what that must have set you back.

I like everything but the front end/ bars. Throw the dna in the garbage and get a led sled or acme spring and some 6 bend pull backs!

Does the bike have a name?

If not I was thinking smurf sperm...
anyway sweet rig! I want to test ride it!

well the bike is loaded up and ready for its long trip to NC
had to take the fishtails off to fit the bikes in the trailer safely
hopefully we make it with no damage to anything
3 bikes in a 7x14 enclosed trailer
once i get there i have to re-install the fishes
and i just got my final pieces for the oil pressure gauge
so i hope to have that installed also
then i'll take some more pics and try to get a video or something

thanks all for your comments

well
we just got back from the horse mag smoke out
bike was well recieved by the looky loos
i entered it in there chopper contest
i think it was a little too pretty for them
so no trophy this time

couple laps around the compound, having a few clutch/shift problems but i am working on it

It was good to meet you at the SOE... That bike has ALOT of details going, not quite sure that pics can completely describe it
