Has anybody bought the seat covers/foam combos off eBay? Are they any good?

I was going to do a doorbell type switch so yeah, I guess it would be momentary type. What about the other wires for the kill swich? Do those nees to be connected together or stay open? My bike is a 79 650 special by the way.

I switched my throttle to a single pull throttle housing without the starter switch. I wanted to put a switch below my seat somewhere or somethin, but don't know how to wire it up??

I fixed this a few days ago finally, but forgot to post right away. Turns out it was the ground to the switch since I put black bars on. Simple fix, but would have taken forever without you guys helpin'. Thanks guys

I will do some more checks this week and report back. The chirping started about a week after the trip, which I thought was strange. No problems in power band or idle or Regan all the way through. I'll re check my valves and everything else you guys mentioned. Thanks for all the help on this one.

I'm not entirely sure how this thing is supposed to sound. Any feedback is helpful. 1979 xs650 sf with low miles. Just got back on the road recently. New pamco ignition and coil. Set timing, valve gap, cam chain tensioner and synced carbs. New tires, chain, all new fluids, cables and bits here...

Thanks guys! I'll give these things a try. I'll clean up the contacts and make sure the handlebar ground is making good contact/ground it manually to test the button. i'll report back if there's an AH HA!! moment. :) Thanks!
