There's no purpose, it's just different. Lets just say it's a rather long fender mount and the Pin-Up gals love it, so far feed back in person has been great.

Thats a TX 750, only made for 2 years, it has internal crank balancers and when set up right they are smooth, 73 was the "dog" year but they are rare. If you want to unload the rims PM me. Good Score
