To paint or not to paint (the engine!)

If you have access to a pressure tank blaster you can use plastic media or baking soda, remove what you do not want hit by the abrasive and double tape any openings with duct tape, also tape the frame rails with a few lenths of duct tape as well. Unless your pulling the engine. The plastic media...

    Two Wheel Mafia's......Naked Lady

There's no purpose, it's just different. Lets just say it's a rather long fender mount and the Pin-Up gals love it, so far feed back in person has been great.

Well I did it. I drug home that 73 750 Twin you guy's told me not to buy.

My mistake  I've got 2 cb750's I'm tearing into, so thats always on my mind, TX's are cool just because you don't see them often. If you get her running and keep it maintained there are parts out there for them, it will always have value because of the short production run.

The major problem with the '73 TX was that oil in the sump area foamed and could not get to the crank and cams for proper...

Well I did it. I drug home that 73 750 Twin you guy's told me not to buy.

Thats a TX 750, only made for 2 years, it has internal crank balancers and when set up right they are smooth, 73 was the "dog" year but they are rare. If you want to unload the rims PM me. Good Score
