how big should the oillines be for a oil cooler/filter setup? will the return be big enough? my bike game whit this in the partsstack. it needs some cleaning up (for the looks) i think at the return thingy. so would it be better to make the return bigger?

i can't find the treat where John posted the engine temps. i want to pint my engine black. can i use 300 (fahrenheit) paint? or will the engine temp be more? all i could find was 270, wich John reduced to 230. thanXS Tre

how hot will a xs650 (soon to be 750) get. i want to paint my engine shine deep black, but the only shiny paint i found sofar is engine enamel from por15. por15 is good till 230degrees celcius.and i think it's not uv proof??? any other paint options are welkom. thanks in advance grtz Tre

hee i´m rob from holland. bought my bike (xs650 se '79) in pieces and boxes. whit lots of spare parts to it. made jig and started to hardtail it. the hardtail part of the bikeis almost done. only needs welding. right now it sits like this till i´m finished building a new shed.
