Looking for a good set of BS38 carb boots for my 75. Thanks.

Ran into a problem, this pin is sitting too high to sit in it's respective slot on the aluminum cap. I took the pin out and made sure there was nothing in there keeping it from sitting down all the way. It is close to a sixteenth off. Any ideas?

Anyone have few extra laying around for 75' bs38's? Cant justify buying them from mikes for the price. Let me know, thanks!

Anyone get a burning smell after riding? I noticed that when my engine is hot from riding I get this smell like burning dust or something. Doesn't smell like oil. Is this normal?

Took my carbs apart tonight for the first time to clean them and to find out what size jets I'm running. Didn't look too dirty but again this is the first time I've taken carbs apart. Ok cam chain, valves, and timing are good. Running bs38's, generic pod filters, medium length straight pipes...

I lowered my forks 2" and cut out 1" of spring because i felt like my forks before were too mushy. They seem pretty damn stiff now, when i sit on the bike it doesnt really budge. I push down on the front end and it moves but very minimal. I just finished last night so i havent had a chance to...

Ok I bought a set of polished lowers from another member, got everything apart and was reassembling and it appears that one of the lowers is slightly dinged or bent just enough to bind as the tube travels down to about 4"from bottoming out. Is there a fix for this? Or scrap metal?

I was locating TDC through the spark plug hole and noticed how cruddy the top of my pistons are. Question is will the carbon build up affect my engine negatively? Just seeing it in there is bothering me, might be time for a top end rebuild.

Ok previous owner did a pma swap still running points. I recently bought a boyer ignition and need some advice on how to get the timing right. There are no timing marks on the pma rotor or the side cover. What would the procedure be to time this thing? It is a 75', running just a headlight...

Decided not to run a front brake, new caliper, brake lever with rebuild kit, two new sets of pads, new hardware, used rotor, only thing needed is a line. Sporty tank up for trade also, clean and running it now. Likely letting go of my 19"spoke rim and whitewall once I get my 21"mounted...

How difficult is it to convert dual throttle cable to single? I'm looking to clean up the bulk look of the stock throttle assembly and make more room for my front brake set up. Part sources would be appreciated.
