thanks RG it does work but when the blue wire is connected thru the 3 bullet connectors for the tail and brake the light stays lit like it should but the brake light does not work after some testing i found that the front switch is faulty and i unplugged it all is well... again thank you

you'll want that aluminum set on dcep reverse polarity (DC electrode positive) so reverse it to the solid core settings on your welder that should work

reverse polarity and yes it can switch the positive and negative terminals on the welder your currently using for this project and see if that helps
