Thanks guys. Carbs were rebuilt very recently-very clean-bike runs good just rich at higher revs-just looking for a shortcut BS34's-wiil give it a try!

Couple of small parts sprouted legs and escaped while I was rejetting my carbs. One rubber plug that covers the pilot jet and one brass washer that goes under one of the main jets. I've been building this bike for a year now and these 2 little items are all I need to go for a ride...come on...

Anyone have an old spare brass washer that goes underneath a BS34 mainjet?

I have only ridden it mebbe a total of 5 miles since I put it back together since it is no fun to ride,kinda like an old bike with the steering dampener way too tight.

Thanks Leo. Been riding 50 years. Worked in bike shops too. I have the bearings so snug now that the bike is tricky to ride. When I grab a handful of front brake (with my left hand at the top of the steering head I can feel (and see) movement fore and aft.

Bike was parked with only 2K miles on it. Made it into a stripped down little street bike. I know,I know,I should have done the tapered bearing bit but I am waaaay over budget and the bike only has 2k on it. Front end was smooth and snug when I took it completely apart. Carefully assembled...
