Dan late model standards are getting hard to find and are becoming sought after classics. Restore this baby and buy a special which are common if you want to do a chop or tracker.

What a shame you are selling, this was a very fussy project and I was looking forward to seeing the finished bike.

Pulled out my XS2s love this model and with their Original US Plates fitted back on.

Pulled out my Low Mileage 79 XS650SF to take to the Australian XS650 Club AGM in Sydney where the bike was judged best bike at the event. This bike has only done 1370 miles was only registered for one year as indicated on the sticker on the fork leg. The bike was only ridden for the one year...

Measurement of front stay with stay standing to centre of stay is 14 1/4 inch or 363mm 1973 TX650 is shorter but looks the same anybody have complete fender or front stay this length for 1972 XS2.

Allot of people don't realise that allot of early 256 XS parts are not interchangeable with 74 on. The Standards 1969 - 1973 XS1 -TX650 256 models 1974 - 1979 TX650A - XS650F 447 models

Part number for XS2 stay is 306-21513-00-00 Part number for TX650 is 366-21513-00-00 I will measure up stay tomorrow when fender is off .

Hi Skull thanks for reply. If they are TX650 1973 stays they are half a inch shorter than XS2 ones. Im trying to get a whole XS2 Guard complete and undamaged as this bike is in excellent condition but had a slight accident that badly damaged front fender stay and the edge of the guard. Guard...
