just out of curiosity where are you guys getting this three position switch for the headlight. ive gone through a lot of switches at radioshack and other electronic places but cant find a on/off/on like the one in the diagram any help would be awesome.

while we're on this topic of sight glass i have a question. this is my first xs. my sight glass shows no oil but my dipstick says full. which is true and why?! the only thing i could think of is that maybe the engine isnt level the way it was when the frame had a swingarm now that its hardtail...

also (i know nothing about welding) is there a different type of welding that maybe doesnt cause this?

wow am i glad i read by chance. here i was ready to let my buddy do some welding on my bike and never even thought about this. now should i take everything electrical out? even wires? what about the motor? is there any way to ground the welder to prevent this from happening? taking everything...

so then capacitor just replaces the battery in the wiring diagram?

so should i run one or two? and when i run it should wire it in place where the battery was? then if i should run two would i run them in line or side by side. thanks again guys :bike:
