The shorter rear shocks are actually Progressive shocks I had in a box in my garage. I never rode it much with longer shocks on it. It rides like it looks. The front fairing is fiberglass, and I really do hate the idea of a fake patina. The rest of the bike is just raw metal with the paint...

Slapped on a fairing that I had on a shelf, not sure....thoughts?

Got bored today and decided to play with some paint, the gas cap apparently leaks but it lends itself to the "patina"....I guess. Need to do a little more detail on the side of the tank.

I have not been in years but we always went when it was in Salisbury, also always a booth to just hang out at. I would bring beanbag chairs and a cooler.....it is the way to do it.

It is a Hondaka, I used a smiilar tank on an old Shovel I built for a friend. Love the look and reminded me of your drawing...

The bike is not yet done...pics are "in progress" pics from my "build" thread. Still need some cleaning up, lowering front forks, welding up this and that, etc.

Exactly....the VI kit has those swoopy convex lines that just dont appeal to me, but your bike looks very cool with it on.

I saw the VI kit first, did not like the lines of it at all, actually sent them an email with a picture of the Monster Kit (found it on the internet, didn't know who made it) and asked them if they could make it for me. Apparently the wrong thing to ask. Oh well....

A little more progress, finished up the exhaust and wrapped it. Built a little battery tray, mounted the front fender on the rear tire, fender is attached to the back of the battery tray and to a bracket that bolts to the underside of the Monstercraftsman brat kit. I flipped the bars, dont...

Angus, Air unstable how? What are the charactheritics of unstable air? Poor atomization of the fuel? Restrictive? Thanks, Mike
