sadly i havnt had much time to do anything to the old girl. I got a few rides in this year, but with the oil leaks, and minor electrical issues, i havnt had much time to try and fix them. I wish i had an afforable bike guy nearby to run through these for me.

adjusted the cam chain, what a difference. no more backfire. noticed the headlight dimming at slightly higher rpm, tested with a multimeter in the garage, and its dropping as I rev. Tried to remove the cover, and wouldnt you know, one of the hex heads is stripped.

I hit a 5 lane wide one direction in st charlesish area the other day for the first time. Dear god....

my dad bought it years ago. i was 15? he used to take me to my first job on the back of it. Never messed with it though. the clutch was misadjusted and it wouldnt kick worth a damn. Also the electric start is funny.

Mine is pretty original, has a good barn petina. It's not super pretty, but it was free. I wouldn't even know what to ask for it.

rode 20 miles, no issues, after fixing the power wire. still leaking some oil, but it has actually improved without doing much at all
