Do separate search's in the "Garage" section of the forum for 4 things. Kick only Pma Pamco Dual sport You will find tons of info. Once you know what you need, you can go shopping. Welcome to the forum. :)

Scrambler pipes, progressive front fork springs, longer travel rear shocks. Ditch the starter and most of the associated electronics, kick start only, pma, pamco ignition. Just to name some things.

It's here, on this site. Go to the top of the page on this site. Click on FORUM. Then click on THE GARAGE. In the garage forum, click on SEARCH THIS FORUM. Type in "Wide tire size" or similar. Many members have looked for the same info you are after.

It sounded like you wanted to go wider. A 130 won't interfere with the chain and i have read that 140 won't either. Do a search in the garage section "wide tire size" for more info. It has been widely discussed.

The first thing i did after stripping it down to the frame was fire up the sawzall and get the hardtail fit & welded. Need to start on the engine as soon as the garage warms up above freezing :laugh:

Welcome to the xs650 forum :) Go to the tech section at top of forum home page. scroll down to electrical. click on wiring diagrams. many choices there.

I am building a 77 hardtail. I switched to mags, 19" front, 16" rear. I have a 19/90/110 in front and 16/90/130 on the rear. No clearance issues with the hardtail. See my signature pic. :twocents:

I am going to mount a "hidden" toggle switch on my kick only project when the time comes. Saves looking for the key. Some people feel more secure if they have a key. If someone wants to steal it bad enough they will load it in a pickup and drive away. Also going to mount a toggle to shut off...

I transferred titles for 2 (non-running) bikes about 8 months ago in Pa. I did not need insurance unless i wanted to register (plate) them. You do not need insurance to transfer the title only. Try a different notary. :thumbsup:
