I think it looks good compared to a lot of them Ive seen,Im not sure about the lightening holes in the cast wheels though.

Ive seen a whole lot more warped sport bike rotors than the older heavy factory rotors.

You completely lost me with the you gain more than you lose part,You lose a little surface area for the pads to grab.

Anybody whos ridden a heavy ass bike like a 900/1000 kawasaki hard will tell you the second rotor makes a hell of a differance in stopping power,not to mention it also helps hold the front end down if youre heavy on the throttle coming off of a light.:laugh: drilling the rotors on a dual disc...

That would work as long as you can find enough straight sections of the existing frame to tie it back in to.

As far as that gusset had to be forced over to fit that bolt,Id say theirs some seriously twisted frame work there.:eek:

I use certain brake and front parts off the kaw 750 twins that are the same as 900/1000 and rear wheel/disc brake parts other than that I don't get too excited about them.:wink2:

Be carefull with that porta band,Ive seen plenty of those blades come off on job sites. There is no way to contain that blade if it comes off that top roller,not a good idea to have a hand anyplace in the area if it happens.:eek:

Ive got an extra set of 1327 turbo pistons for a 900-1000 kaw if that helps.:laugh:

You can also look for the extra ribs on inside of rim used to hold the bead.

If youre not out drag racing from stop light to stop light,not having a tach is not a big deal. Most stock motors stop pulling/making power long before youll start doing damage from high rpms,listen to the bike it wil tell you what it wants to do.;)
