Allmond Cycle Design in England do a very similar one to TC Bros, would work out much cheaper to get it sent that via the USA. I'm sure they would be able to help with paperwork.
I got a set of spoked yamaha DT400 wheels (21" front, 18" rear) dirt cheap that I plan on using on my XS, but was wondering if it's possible to either convert to disc brakes or would it be easier to swap out the centre hubs with disc versions?
i was reading through that one the other day, my question being with the sproket key, how far round does it need to be cut? do i just turn the crank three splines then mark out the new one?
I've read through a very large amount covering various info about rephasing, and that to get to 277 it is split the crank, twist three splines and then press back together. But is it really that simple?
I know the crank will need to be trued but can it be done without a total disassembly...
I'm looking to possibly rebore my cylinders to 700cc but can't quite justify the cost of a set of JE pistons at the moment (I can get a rephase for the same cost in the uk) are the any other pistons from other bikes that would work in a rebored xs650?
