Morning all , another cold wet day in the UK . Today's query pls ,does the very small hole in a 72 master cylinder go all the way through and into the bore? Mine doesn't ,it is either very blocked or is blanked off .This brake is proving a bit of a pain ! Thanks.

OK, if I was to fit a new one piece brake hose to my 72 because the lower part of mine is missing how would it attach to the caliper ? The one piece one is quite a bit cheaper than a new lower but comes with a banjo fitting at each end,would it do away with the existing Metal tube ? Thanks

Hi ,Just got this new Tacho cable for a 1972 650 but as you can see the fitment is different to the oem one. The knurled knob on the old one is all one piece and I can't figure out how to fit the new one,am I missing an adaptor or something , Thanks .

Morning all, I was going to replace the camshaft oil seals on my 72 xs2 ,seems like a fairly easy job Only trouble is I can't seem to find any for a 72 ,there are plenty for 74 and onwards so the question is are they all the same or is the camshaft on mine a different size ? Thanks .

When pushing down on the front end and then letting the forks come back up they are coming back up with a thump as they reach the end of their travel,it is a distinct clonk and it happens when going over a bump in the road as well ,any thoughts please as to what is happening .Thanks

New year ,new problem. Just spent the last few hours fitting the new rings ,standard size ,into my honed cylinders and they seem to be a little tight ,I can move them up and down by hand but I seem to think that when I took them out they moved fairly easy,is it a case of because they are new...

Can someone please tell me if this piston ring which I think is called the oil scraper ring goes in the top groove or the middle one on the piston,this ring has the little lip on it as you can just make out in the pic.I just can't remember and obviously don't want to do it wrong ,Thanks
