Starting to go back together after being apart for way too long. I didn't have the chance to get all the parts powdercoated like I wanted to due to time constraints of dropping it off. I need to get some projects done (or at least rideable) after this one is riding again, I'll be on to a xs400...

Spraying flake is a little tricky even in rattle cans. You can practice with some cheaper alternatives. I've used glitter paint (silver) and some red transparent paint from duplicolor (their metalcast line) and a ton of layers of clear to cover the heavy flake. Not the best way to go but...

a XS650 hub laced to a 21" wheel would allow you to keep your front brake without issues

Tank lifts are not available for xs650 like they are for sportsters.
